Filipa is the founder of Marie-Thérèse, a Portuguese atelier specializing in Croquembouche.

Growing up in artistic circles, first through performing arts, then visual arts and later inspired by her time in Paris, she dedicated herself to the edible arts of French pastry. Developing an aesthetic sensibility that is reflected in each creation today.

The Journey of an Artist

Over the years, she specialized in French pastry and techniques, including training at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu. After opening her own pastry shop next to the Lisbon Zoo, her work gained national recognition, leading to a collaboration with MasterChef Portugal in a test dedicated to the iconic Croquembouche.

In 2024, she opened her private atelier in Charneca da Caparica, where she currently receives couples from different parts of the world for personalized tastings, and holds creative workshops with the community.

"A dream: to see creations of my authorship integrate celebrations beyond borders, carrying with them the delicacy and romanticism of the Marie-Thérèse universe."

Alchemy of the Elements

In the secret of our atelier in Charneca da Caparica, time seems to slow down. We use only the best that nature gives us: beautiful Bourbon vanilla pods, artisanal butter, and chocolate with high cocoa content that melts into the soul.
